This Time Tomorrow

By Emma Straub

When life is not exactly what we hope it to be, what would we do with a magic portal to the past? So many different answers to this question floated around my living room during our book club discussion. Some people would use it all the time, some would never. Most of us would be curious enough to try. The story is fascinating to contemplate, and it bends all the rules of space and time. But above all, it’s a love story. Not one of romance, but of father and daughter. And more than that, it’s a love letter from one to the other.
